4 August 2010

Well we didn't get blown away thankfully. In fact the storms were not too bad at all. Quite a bit of rain at 5am and some thunder too, but I think we got off lightly.

This morning they decided to scrub the 18M and Open classes and launch the 15M class. The weather turned out to be really quite nice this afternoon, although a bit tricky the pilots said, and I think they definitely wasted a day for the other two classes.

Paul is in 4th overall now, and Stephen 26th.

We should fly tomorrow, but Friday looks like possibly being quite a wash out, so tomorrow may be the last flying day. Fingers crossed for our pilots!!!!

Here are a few more photos from today....

And the day winner for the 3 days ago was.... Paul Crabb from Ireland!!!! At last, this morning, the scores were final and we were able to clap and cheer the hero!

A morning dip in the paddling pool with Moo Moo the Loch Mess Nonster (no not my typing, this is his name I'm told) on loan to us from Kim in the British Team.

The Crabb-Witeks on the grid this morning, taking it easy, as the 18M class was scrubbed.

Helping Daddy de-rig at the end of the day.

And a bit of help with the water from the younger cousin....
