as you may know by now there was an accident with a glider and a truck just before landing on the airfield. The glider pilot Lars Zehnder from Australia is ok but is now at a police station and had his passport confiscated. The Truck driver is unfortunately badly injured and his condition is stated as critical. We all hope he will be ok. Due to this accident the organisation has now changed the Landing procedures to a 3km finishing circle which must be crossed at min alt of 140m qnh to give sufficent height for a direct landing approach. The rule has been introduced with immediate effect for todays task which ar 304.2km racing task for the 15m and 353.5km racing task for the 18m.
Start of Launching is set for 12.00hrs.
We had a good result yesterday with Paul in second place by 8second and Steven at the moment in 25th place all result unofficial as some logger traces are still missing.
