A departure... Bruno the team captain has left to fly a comp at Hus Bos, he has done a great job as usual representing the Irish Team, always rising above the odd bout of grumpiness from the pilots. Gerry Ellis will take over official duties for the last few days.

Another arrival... Dana, Stephen's mother in law arrived last night to see how we are all doing and meet old friends. We had a pleasant meal with Dana, Mac and Co. at the Hotel. Stephen and Ania are being very well behaved.

Not such a good day yesterday, a wee bit sloooow... it was very nice at the start but "cirrus fields" cut the thermals off in the south of the task area and I ended up creeping home. Stephen had a slightly better day but still a bit tardy.

We woke up this morning to a grand soft day with little prospect of flying. Briefing is at 10am as usual and we expect them to scrub. Pretty well everyone expected yesterday to be the last day so there will be at least 3 very happy pilots in the 15m, 18m and open class.
