Well I was wrong... there were enough cumulus to make a really good day. We launched just after 2pm, I climbed up and started at 2:19, Stephen and Mac at 2:21. First couple of climbe were 6 knots to 7,000 feet and it pretty much carried on like that for the rest of the afternoon with the exception of a couple of 8 knotters. I managed to hang on to the shirt tails of the ASG29 and Ventus 2cxa up to the point were it was getting late and we abandoned going into the last area - a nice climb up to 7,000 and a 100k glide back to Lusse a few minutes after others. Some sticky buns and a quick derig polished off a good day. Our only regret is not putting our gliders on the grid earlier so we could have started earlier.

looks like a lot of upper level cirrus is ushing in from the west and the forecast is for some sort of weak warm front with potential for showers - a potentially tricky day.
