We thought it would be blue, it was to the east but great conditions to the west and north, best climbs were 8 knots to 8,000 feet. Hope it's this good tommorrow. Mac had a day off, so I trailed round after mr. grumpy (Stephen), it seems he has mislaid/forgotten/never had most of his documents. We wandered around to the west and the north - it seemed to cheer him up a bit. We need to fly as long as possible each day to try and get value for money from the aerotows - 50 euro a launch !

Here's a cure for a lot of strife about who has the internet lead - we plugged it in, it worked for 5 minutes and then the poxy internet feed died ( not our fault - honest )

It's official their is a comp here and we have a banner to proove it.

Here's how the east Germans park their trailers !

Here is where the foreign itinerants have set up camp, you don't want to be downwind of this lot when it gets hot!

One of the weighing stations with a dirty great glider trying to break the scales.

The other weighing station with no customers ( all flying ) - hat's off to the organisatin for getting the scrutineering organised so early in the practice period.

Here's the booking in team - their a bit "short staffed", again a friendly "no hassle" event.

A small fleet of Wilga's, enough to launch a class, I suspect their will be another wave of them arriving soon, with a bit of luck their might be some Smelak's - now there's a tug that I don't mind paying extra to be launched by.

The Bar, Restaurant, Admin and clubhouse.

The service vehicle for the clubhouse.

The local posers in the play ground - oblivious to the poor sod in the background stranded on some red tape. I suspect the monster ( Liam Crabb ) give his mother heart attacks playing on this little lot.

That's all for now, dinner at the hotel tonight and an early night in preparation for another sodding text message from Steve Russel at 7am, he has been warned.
