The Irish team has arrived. Siobhan Crabb has setup the blog, given us posting access and expects content !!. Got here last yesterday (saturday) afternoon. Stephen flew his hired ASG29e following a less than spectacular landing in his own last saturday. Steve Russell is doing sterling work as crew and general dogsbody - Greg Micorek will be turning up on monday or tuesday to make sure that the www.refinish.biz show gets on the road - and to help. will We are all installed in the Burg hotel in Belzig. Flew 300k today with mac the Jap - Mac will be pair flying with Stephen for as long as he can stand it. Weather was hot, 30 deg. , 7,000 foot cloudbase and 4-6kt averages. The organisation is very relaxed at the moment, getting set up for saturday - they have been extremely helpful and as friendly as we remember them in 2000 so it bodes well for a fun 3 weeks. Off for a Chinese in Belzig tonight with.

C64 after a day chasing 18m gliders - flown full of water it goes like Sh*t off a shiny shovel !

Eric Soubrier's ASG29e is slowly being transformed into C65.

Here's the container with all our stuff neatly piled on the tables so we have plenty of floor space to work on. It's painted white on the outside and is nice and cool - good internet access and close to the briefing hall, can't see the airfield which is the only downside. Stephen is whingeing about having the internet so I'll have to do a bit more later or tommorrow morning.
